Fluke Networks Hires Wayne Bergland As US Vice President of Sales for Its Performance Management Group
Fluke Networks today announced it has hired Wayne M. Bergland as Vice President of Sales, U.S. for its Performance Management business. An award-winning sales and management professional, Bergland joins Fluke Networks with a strong track record of sales and strategic business development successes with more than 20 years experience in the technology sector. In his past positions, Bergland has consistently grown revenue through implementation of organizational strategies and new sales programs and plans. Fluke Networks is looking to Bergland to provide additional leadership and management expertise to the sales organization for performance management systems in an effort to further establish Fluke Networks as a key player in the market.

Prior to joining Fluke Networks, Bergland was vice president, Sales for the Americas, with Packeteer, a global leader in Wide Area Network (WAN) application traffic management which was recently acquired by Blue Coat. Beyond upgrading and expanding the sales force and territories, he introduced and implemented key programs to improve focus and organization and increased revenue and customer base in numerous vertical markets.
Bergland also served as the vice president of sales for SurfControl, a leading internet security company where he played a critical role in increasing revenues from $65 million to $100 million in just three years. Prior to SurfControl, Bergland held executive sales roles with such companies as Tarantella and SCO (Santa Cruz Operation).
