Dorado Launches New Software to Automate Network Configuration

Dorado Software, a provider of IT infrastructure lifecycle management software, has released the Redcell Network Commander product, which is claimed to offer administrators automated network configuration, change and compliance management all in one integrated system.

According to the company, the Redcell Network Commander, part of the Redcell 6.1 enterprise portfolio, enables administrators to deploy, configure and update network devices and services, while adhering to internal, regulatory and security compliance standards. Redcell Network Commander is also claimed to ensure that a company's heterogeneous device infrastructure is correctly configured in order to maintain the stability and availability of its network.

The company has said that the Redcell Network Commander is targeted at administrators and managers and scales from small to medium-sized business to enterprise operation centers.

Mike Grote, vice president product management of Dorado Software, said: "Maintaining the configuration of a distributed network is a time-consuming, laborious, and costly task that requires in-depth familiarity with all of the disparate devices from multiple vendors. Redcell Network Commander can maintain the secure and dependable network service that business users demand."
