Optic Communications Announces Cairo Operations

International telecommunications service provider, Optic Communications, announces operations at its contracted Cairo, Egypt call center. The Cairo call center will facilitate the provision 1800 hours of Optic service representative availability each day as the new facility can accommodate 600 representatives operating over three separate 8-hour shifts. The facilities' 24-hour capacity is critical to Optic Communications international operations and customer base present in over 8 time zones throughout the world. Operations at the facility officially began in November of 2003.
The Cairo call center will employ state-of-the-art technology including a complete monitoring system ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards in every call between Optic representatives and Optic customers. Optic Communications anticipates that the Cairo call center will expedite its entry into additional international telecommunications markets and also provide considerable training opportunities for Optic representatives. "This new facility is going to significantly bolster out ability to reach and serve customers throughout the world," confirmed Optic Communications Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Adam Bonaldi.
Optic Communications is headquartered in the United States with customers and certification to provide telecommunications services in Australia, Canada, Ireland, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
