Tomorrow, enjoy a day trip to Battle and Hastings in East Sussex with Pulhams Coaches.

Battle features the Abbey gateway on the main street and a wonderful shopping complex designed to fit in with the surrounding thatched housing.

Hastings is famous for the attractions around the Fishmarket including the miniature railway and fairground, as well as the pier.

The bus picks up passengers in Moreton at 7.20am, Stow at 7.30am, Bourton at 7.45am and Northleach at 8am.

Tickets are pounds17 for adults, children just pounds15 and please note that pre-booking is required, so call on 01451 820369 and snap up those tickets.

The flea markets are back in action in Stow this week at the Masonic Hall, Church Street from Monday to Wednesday, open from 10am to 4pm each day, so be sure not to miss out on any bargains!

The Cotswold Art Club is holding its Summer Art Exhibition at St Edward’s Hall, Stow from Monday to August 31.

Featuring a wide variety of original paintings in all media; ranging from still life and landscapes to abstracts – with many pieces on sale at reasonable prices.

Also available to buy will be postcards and notelets depicting pictures of local scenes.

The Exhibition opens on Monday at 1pm until 5.30pm and every day after opens from 10am and entry to the exhibition is completely free.
