Aztek Networks Appoints New Board Member

Aztek Networks, a provider of switching products that enable switch collapse for network migration, has appointed John Kelley to its board of directors.
Mr Kelley served as president and CEO of McDATA Corporation. Prior to joining McDATA, he served as executive vice president of networks at Qwest Communications after its acquisition of the US West Communications.
Before the acquisition, Mr Kelley worked as president of wholesale and interconnect markets for the US West. In addition, he also served as vice president and general manager of large business and government accounts and simultaneously held the position of president of federal services for the US West.
Mr Kelley's professional activities also have included being a member of the board of directors of Polycom Corporation since 2000 as well as privately held 3Leaf Systems since 2007. He serves as a senior advisor to several privately held technology companies. He has served on the board of directors of Captaris Corporation, a publicly held company in Redmond, Washington.
