Keeping Your Computer Safe When You Go Away
People worried about leaving their computers at home while they go on holiday are giving a Staffordshire selfstorage company booming business.
"The fear of homes being burgled and computers stolen is an increasing concern for holidaymakers.
"Computers can be replaced, but the inconvenience of losing data and sometimes years of work, are a big cause for concern," said Rugeley Self Storage director Ben Morley. "A large majority of people have no backup storage for their data and would really be in trouble if the computer was stolen."
The company, which operates from a unit on The Towers Business Park in Rugeley, says the offer of secure storage for under pounds 7 a week will save people from holiday concerns.
"We're offering peace of mind," said Ben, who runs the family business with his brother Tim and father Rob.
"We are finding an increasing number of people are really afraid of losing their computer; while people working from home rely on their PC or laptop."
Rugeley Self Storage says its centre, which was purpose- designed, features hi-tech security.
