Pinger Selects Voxbone to Expand Mobile Voice Service
Pinger, a provider of instant voice messaging service for mobile phones, has selected Voxbone, a provider of local telephone numbers and VoIP transport, to expand mobile voice service internationally.
According to Pinger, with the help of Voxbone, its patent-pending service is now available in more than 20 countries.
Pinger users can send instant voice messages by dialing a local number, saying the name of the person they want to message and speaking their message. Recipients will get notified of the new message via text, prompting them to call a local number. They hear the voice message and can reply with just one button.
Jocelyn Cloutier, chief technology officer and vice president of engineering at Pinger, said: “Voxbone was able to procure the international DID numbers we needed to expand our service globally. The company stood out not only because it supports numbers in a wide range of countries, but it was also flexible enough to customize its service to work with our IVR platform.”
