Appeal After Theft of Laptop

Police are appealing for help in tracing a laptop snatched from a Swansea student's home, which contains years of her work.

The Dell computer was taken following a burglary at the woman's home, in Loughor Road, on August 14, between 1pm and 2.15pm.

Thieves made their way into the property by smashing a pane of glass in a rear door.

The computer was worth pounds600, but officers say the student is more anxious to have the computer back as it has her masters dissertation on it.

Detective Inspector Simon Davies, from Swansea North CID, in Morriston, said: "There is many years of hard work on the computer.

"The lady concerned would like it back.

"If anybody knows the whereabouts of this computer or where it can be recovered please get in touch."

Contact Morriston Police Station on 01792 456999 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
