Alaska Airlines Appoints MD of Customer Relationship Management

Alaska Airlines has appointed Navin Mithel as its new managing director of customer relationship management.
In this position, Mr Mithel will lead the airline's interactive marketing programs, including online marketing, e-mail, targeted campaigns and company web site. Most recently, Mr Mithel was a managing partner at Ascentium, an interactive marketing firm.
Mr Mithel also spent 12 years with Lante, where he served as a software developer, founder and manager of the company's New York office and principal of its Seattle office.
Steve Jarvis, vice president of marketing, sales and customer experience at Alaska Airlines, said: "Navin is a proven leader in helping companies build unique and profitable relationships with their customers. We are very pleased to have someone with his talent and experience joins our team."
