SkyRecon Systems Announces Its Membership in HP Developer and Solution Partner Program
Posted on: Tuesday, 26 August 2008, 18:00 CDT
SkyRecon(R) Systems, a premier global provider of integrated, proactive endpoint security solutions, today announced its membership in the HP Developer and Solution Partner Program (DSPP). HP DSPP is a worldwide program for independent software vendors, software developers, system integrators and consultants.
SkyRecon's membership in HP DSPP ensures that mutual customers will benefit from complementary and collaborative client management and security solutions. SkyRecon also has access to sales and marketing assistance from HP as provided by the program.
"ISVs are often looking for ways to grow their business and help their customers," said Kristy Ward, worldwide marketing and business development manager, Developer and Solution Partner Program, HP. "With membership in the HP DSPP, SkyRecon can tap into our worldwide community to more easily develop and market offerings that work with HP's Business Technology portfolio."
SkyRecon solutions provide integrated system protection, data protection, network access control and dynamic policy enforcement. Relying on behaviors rather than signatures or heuristics, SkyRecon's StormShield Security Suite offers integrated device control, data encryption, application control, host-based intrusion prevention (HIPS), system firewall, wireless security, and endpoint-enforced network access control (NAC). Its proactive security agent also allows for zero-day protection without the need for signature or rule updates -- all of this using only a few megabytes of memory.
"Our membership in HP DSPP provides our enterprise customers with the flexibility to control their endpoints in support of secure business operations -- even when they leave the protected walls of the corporate network," said Sean Martin, CISSP, SkyRecon VP of Marketing. "Together with HP's comprehensive set of client management offerings, StormShield Security Suite ensures that IT operations and security operations can work hand-in-hand to define, deploy, and enforce the appropriate risk-based and business-enabling endpoint policies necessary to meet their internal, external, and regulatory compliance requirements."
