Stephen Zabele Joins BBN Technologies As VP, Technology Applications

BBN Technologies, an advanced technology solutions firm, announced today that Stephen Zabele has joined the company as Vice President, Technology Applications. In this role, Zabele will support the company's growth strategy by enhancing and augmenting BBN's already-diverse portfolio of advanced technologies, to create increased opportunities for transitioning to repeatable solutions.
Before joining BBN Technologies, Zabele was chief scientist of BAE Systems Advanced Information Technologies (AIT) division (formerly ALPHATECH). While at BAE Systems AIT, Zabele lead several advanced networking programs and exhibited a prowess for identifying and enhancing technologies that could be developed into products and solutions. He successfully transitioned several key technologies to operational status with the Air Force, Navy, and other military services. Zabele is also recognized as the catalyst behind the development of the ALPHATECH networking group.
Zabele believes that BBN's rich history and innovation in networking, speech and language, sensors, and security provides him with an almost infinite number of technologies capable of being expanded into state-of-the-art products and solutions.
