Award for Cop

A POLICEMAN who saved a man's life by using the kiss of life is to receive an award.

PC Lee Cockburn, 39, brought Robert Sinclair, 64, back from the brink when he fell unconscious in a car in Edinburgh last December.

As a result, the Lothian and Borders officer has been awarded a Royal Humane Society resuscitation certificate.

The society's secretary, Dick Wilkinson, said: "To all intents and purposes, the man was dead when PC Cockburn first saw him."
