Minister Alters Format of Church TV Program

BELFAST – The Rev. Tom Ventura, pastor of the Church of the Holy Light at 96 Main St., has changed the format of the television program the church broadcasts at 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday on Time Warner Cable channel 2.

In the past a sermon recorded from the pulpit has been broadcast. Ventura now is teaching from the Bible while sitting at a table and speaking directly to the home audience. The show will continue to highlight songs performed by the worship team at services.
