Dollar remains at upper 108 yen level in Tokyo

TOKYO, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — The U.S. dollar steadied at the upper 108 yen level Wednesday in Tokyo.

The dollar was quoted at 108.90-91 yen at 5 p.m., compared with 108.56-66 yen in New York and 108.30-32 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro traded at 1.4420-4421 dollars and 157.04-08 yen, against 1.4515-4525 dollars and 157.65-75 yen in New York and 1. 4500-4502 dollars and 157.04-08 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday.
