Veraz Networks Showcases NGN Network and Subscriber Services Solutions

Veraz Networks, worldwide leader in programmable softswitch, service delivery and media gateway platforms, together with various NGN partners are showcasing at SUPERCOMM 2005 (Booth 32073), the Veraz 'any Application, any Network, any Device' Solution families. Committed to openness, programmable and reliable offerings to service providers, Veraz is leveraging its field-proven NGN Platform in partnership with selected VOSA partners.

Veraz will demonstrate residential, SOHO subscriber solutions leveraging its most recently announced ControlSwitch Version 6.0 capabilities. In addition, the programmable services infrastructure with service broker capabilities is utilized to coordinate a wide variety of application services provided together with application partners. Through the demonstrations, service providers will see how to leverage multiple specialized applications and the programmability of the ControlSwitch to create, customize and deploy revenue-generating innovative services to their subscriber customer base.

With a comprehensive set of interaction solutions tailored to carriers and service providers in the global market, the Veraz ControlSwitch implements an open architecture in line with the IMS framework; all the applications are connected to Veraz ControlSwitch through standard SIP interface.

At SUPERCOMM booth #32073, Veraz will demonstrate a selected group of available switching and enhanced services solutions in the 'any Application, any Network, any Device' Solution families like long distance, prepaid, messaging, call center enhanced application solutions and residential, SOHO, and IP Centrex subscriber service solutions. Many of the demonstrated solutions are enabled using best of breed application platforms from selected partners including the following: an IP Centrex and Hosted PBX solution in partnership with BroadSoft; a messaging solution in partnership with CTI2; a Call Center Solution in partnership with Genesys, a Prepaid/CRM solution in partnership with MIND CTI, and a prepaid solution in partnership with Pactolous.

BroadSoft (www.broadsoft.com): Veraz will demo a BroadSoft VoIP application platform which integrates an extensive set of Centrex and IP PBX services enabling service providers to leverage an end-to-end managed solution for improved customer acquisition and retention goals and increased Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) as opposed to having customers deploy their own PBX and IP PBX alternatives. This solution offers a complete, pre-tested package that includes all the components and features broadband and traditional service providers need to quickly deploy the end-to-end solution to serve businesses of all sizes.

CTI2 (www.cti2.com): Veraz will demo best of breed Messaging Services with CTI2. The demo will show an impressive suite of clients that provides residential, SOHO and IP Centrex subscribers the comfort of being in touch with important messages whenever it is needed. Veraz and CTI2 solution provides a lucrative offering from Voicemail with enhanced features to Unified Messaging and more. This innovative demo will show an interesting solution for carriers that are looking for ways to significantly reduce operating expenses and increase profitability based on the edge messaging service offerings.

Genesys Labs (www.genesyslab.com): A live demo from Veraz and Genesys will include the Veraz ControlSwitch and the enhanced Genesys Voice Platform:Network Edition. The demonstration shows how service providers can connect IP-based customer interaction and contact center applications with existing Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) interfaces, using Primary Rate Interface and SS7 ISDN User Part (ISUP). This pre-defined connection decreases integration costs significantly for carriers, optimizes service provider network resources and supports faster deployment of enhanced services for enterprises, including hosted call center applications - all via the same platform.

MIND CTI (www.mindcti.com): Veraz and MIND CTI (NASDAQ: MNDO), will perform a live demonstration of their turn-key prepaid application. This end to end solution provides service providers with an enhanced feature rich system that allows them to stay ahead of the competition in today's highly demanding prepaid communications market. The application also includes a Flexible Customer Self-Service, which provides both Interactive Voice Response (IVR) services and Web-based tools to analyze and respond to customer behavior in a real-time. The MIND's pre paid application is a highly scalable solution that supports tens of million of prepaid subscribers on a single platform.

Pactolus: (www.pactolus.com) Veraz and Pactolus enable a complete solution for prepaid card services that includes telephony service logic (IVR), Web-based subscriber creation and account management, database PIN number creation and authentication, a real-time rating engine, and self-contained billing and reporting. This gives service providers an off-the-shelf way for generating significant service revenue rapidly and cost-effectively.
