Siemens Business Services to Provide Multi-Region Desk-Side Support for Microsoft

Microsoft Corp. has awarded Siemens Business Services, Inc. a multi-year, 70,000 seat IT services contract to provide desk-side services to the company's United States, Central American, South American, Canadian, European, Middle Eastern, Indian and African offices. In total, Siemens Business Services will provide services for Microsoft in 57 countries.

The contract expands an existing agreement with Microsoft which covered North and South America. In addition to a broadened geographic scope, the new contract includes the establishment of a Global Program Management office to drive and oversee continuous improvement efforts and reduce support costs.
