Posted on: Tuesday, 9 September 2008, 09:00 CDT

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/ca6034/zambia_telecoms) has announced the addition of the "Zambia - Telecoms Market Overview & Statistics" report to their offering.

Zambia has an independently regulated telecoms sector with three competing mobile networks and a monopoly fixed-line operator, Zamtel. The fixed-line network is at a very low level of development, which in turn has impeded growth in the Internet sector. Key Topics Covered: - Key statistics - Telecommunications market - Regulatory environment - Fixed network operator in Zambia - Telecommunications infrastructure - Broadband and Internet market - Mobile communications - Broadcasting market - List of Tables
