Cinergy MetroNet, a communication service provider through its all-fiber optic network services, has deployed Integra5's converged services platform, i5 CSP, to aid the market-wide launch of i5's TV Caller ID application.
According to Integra5, its i5 CSP combines communications from voice, video, data and wireless networks into real-time converged applications that span TVs, PCs and mobile and landline phones. Its network-based, distributed architecture scales to support works in cable, IPTV and hybrid video and telephony networks; and supports IMS, tru2way and EBIF environments.
Ed Perry, vice president of sales at Integra5, said: "Once the i5 CSP is deployed in the network, service providers like Cinergy MetroNet are able to maintain a competitive edge, quickly and easily rolling out a range of new converged communications services that reach all user devices - with no need to install new in-home equipment or software - and layering on sticky subscriber features, such as social media and personalization capabilities."
