Mark Thomas Joins Wireless Services Corporation As Chief Financial Officer

Wireless Services Corporation today announced that Mark Thomas has joined the company as chief financial officer. His wealth of experience, knowledge and relationships in the telecommunications industry will be a tremendous asset to Wireless Services Corporation having worked for AT&T Wireless, AT&T and most recently as CFO and senior vice president of business development for Terabeam Corp.

At Terabeam, Thomas was instrumental in evaluating strategic alternatives for the company that led to it being sold to YDI Wireless. With AT&T and AT&T Wireless he was deeply involved in structuring transactions that significantly expanded AT&T Wireless' national footprint. Thomas brings operational experience from his role as president of AT&T Wireless' Aviation Communication Division and in the oversight of a major joint venture market.

Thomas is the fourth executive in the past year to join Wireless Services Corporation, along with Rich Begert, CEO, Larry Covari, vice president of Operations and Deployment, and Todd Larsen, vice president of Sales.
Prior to working with AT&T Wireless and AT&T, Thomas was a corporate and tax attorney with Davis Polk & Wardwell, Washington, D.C., and as a clerk for former Chief Judge John C. Godbold of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit Court in Alabama. Thomas earned a law degree from the University of Virginia and a bachelor's degree in physics from Harvard University.
