Fujitsu Siemens Computers Implements Lixto’s OMI Solution

Lixto Software has announced that IT manufacturer Fujitsu Siemens Computers has implemented its Online Market Intelligence solution.

Lixto said that with its Online Market Intelligence (OMI) solution, the sales, product management and marketing departments of Fujitsu Siemens can gain a complete market overview of its internet price competitiveness based on the supply of real-time data from competitor’s websites. Business-critical decisions concerning market presence, pricing, product placement and product strategy, relating to sales in individual countries and regions, can then be implemented, added Lixto Software.

Stefan Kurzawa, finance director of business clients at Fujitsu Siemens Computers, said: “Lixto provided us with a professional approach and fast implementation and the OMI solution has so far exceeded our expectations.”

Christian Koestler, vice president of manufacturing, retail and consumer products at Lixto Software, said: “Lixto OMI enables companies to react more quickly to market situations. This capacity is based on powerful and flexible extraction technology that automatically collects market data from the internet, and then aggregates and prepares this for further analysis in a management cockpit or transfers it to other company-specific analysis tools.”
