EarthLink Launches High-Speed Broadband Service in Dallas and North Texas

Internet services provider EarthLink has introduced a new high-speed cable broadband service in the Dallas and North Texas markets.
According to EarthLink, its high speed internet service features eight e-mail addresses that incorporate free web space, website publishing tool and a customizable myEarthLink Start Page; web Mail which allows members to access their EarthLink e-mail from anywhere; advanced mail features including challenge or response functionality that eliminates all spam and anonymous email addresses that are linked to a user's standard email address and EarthLink's TotalAccess software that provides computer security features, including antivirus, virus blocker, spamBlocker, and firewall protection.
Kevin Brand, senior vice president of product management at EarthLink, said: "Over a million households in the Dallas and North Texas areas can now turn to EarthLink for the higher speeds of cable broadband internet access. With 14 years of award-winning ISP expertise we're pleased to be giving North Texans more choice for their high-speed internet service needs."
