PTT Chemical, a Globally Integrated Enterprise Paradigm, Partners With IBM to Collaborate in the First End-to-End Purchasing Management Systems in Thailand

PTT Chemical Public Company Limited enters the new business model called "Globally Integrated Enterprise" by partnering with IBM (NYSE: IBM) to collaborate on the first end-to-end purchasing management systems in Thailand under the project "Sourcing Transformation." This project will help its business to increase efficiency in purchasing management systems, develop skills of PTT Chemical's personnel, and strengthen both of its domestic and international operations. IBM will help PTT Chemical transform their sourcing processes by leveraging IBM's global sourcing capability, providing specialized procurement resources and implementing enhancements to PTT Chemical systems. With this new operation, PTT Chemical will be able to create business process innovation in order to gain the competitive advantages and make the best use of internal resources.
