Two Quincy Bars Charged in Sting
QUINCY – Two bars served alcohol to a teenager as police conducted compliance checks during the Labor Day weekend, Detective Lt. Peter Turowski said.
Callahan’s Tap at 296 Copeland St. and Blue at 307 Victory Road in Marina Bay failed to ask for identification before serving alcohol to a 19-year-old female, Turowski said.
Both establishments will come before the licensing board in the near future, said Turowski, who is the city’s liquor inspector.
Compliance checks at Quincy bars and liquor stores will continue through the end of the year.
