IntelePeer Showcases Powerful New Voice and Rich Media Communications Platform at Internet Telephony Expo

IntelePeer Inc., a leader in hosted on-demand rich media communications, will showcase its new IntelePeer AppworX(TM) open communications platform at the Internet Telephony Conference and Expo taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from September 16 - 18, 2008.

On the show floor, attendees can see IntelePeer demonstrate multiple Web and enterprise applications enhanced with powerful voice, rich media features and widgets powered by IntelePeer AppworX. Visitors to IntelePeer booth #135 will see VoicePoke! for Facebook; and VoiceBlast and Auto-Conference for Microsoft Outlook.

During the conference portion of the Internet Telephony show, Charles Studt, IntelePeer's vice president of product management, will moderate two panels on Software as a Service (SaaS) on Wednesday, September 17:

 --  9:00 a.m.: Studt will serve as moderator for "Software-as-a-Service:     The Basics," along with panelists Joseph Hofstader, architect for     Microsoft, and Steve Crawford, vice president of marketing for Jamcracker. --  11:00 a.m.: Studt will moderate, "SaaS for Virtual Call Centers" and     will be joined by Ari Klionsky, vice president of business development for     Transera and Erica Plastino, director of marketing for LanguageLine.

As an example of the rapid development capabilities enabled by IntelePeer AppworX, the demonstration of VoicePoke! for Facebook will highlight the social media widget that allows members using the new Facebook Web site to send audio and video files, along with a message to their friends' phones and mobile devices. Members can schedule future reminder phone calls using text-to-speech or sound files and can VoicePoke friends directly from Facebook and if people want to speak directly, VoicePoke will immediately connect the call.

The IntelePeer booth will also highlight a demonstration of VoiceBlast for Microsoft Outlook, another feature powered by the IntelePeer AppworX platform. VoiceBlast allows users to send recorded voice messages and announcements on-demand, or schedule messages for delivery at a future time to one or more phones automatically.

With Auto-Conference, Microsoft Outlook users can join conference calls automatically -- there's no need to remember the dial-in number or access code/PIN. At the scheduled time, Auto-Conference automatically dials the participant at a specified number and prompts the participant to automatically connect into the conference. The participant is prompted to press 1 and is automatically placed into the conference call.
