The Web Analytics Association Partners With the Direct Marketing Association to Bring the “WAA Base Camp” Workshop to DMA08 in Las Vegas
The Web Analytics Association (WAA) has partnered with the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) to offer its WAA Base Camp workshop series at the DMA08 Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas on Sunday, October 12 at the Las Vegas Hilton.
DMA08, the global event for integrated marketing, will host one of the Web Analytics Association's many Base Camp workshops offered throughout the year, and all DMA08 attendees are invited to register.
For newcomers, the "Introduction to Web Analytics" workshop will offer a high level overview of web analytics, including insight into the background of web analytics, how to get started and what to expect.
Another option, ideal for those responsible for driving traffic, online advertising, search or email marketing, the "Online Marketing Campaign Optimization" workshop will provide a valuable introduction to measuring and managing online campaigns.
The third workshop, "Web Analytics for Site Optimization," will offer tips on improving website effectives and review the latest tools and techniques for site optimization.
The DMA08 keynote lunch on "How to Engage Marketing Weary Consumers with the Power of Community, Dialogue and Partnership," is also included for Base Camp attendees and will feature Joseph Jaffe, founder and president of CRAYON.
The Web Analytics Association encourages DMA08 attendees to take advantage of these invaluable introductory workshops. All three sessions will run simultaneously from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 90-minute lunch break and two 15-minute coffee breaks.
WAA members will receive a $200 discount off the regular DMA member rates for the DMA08 Conference and Exhibition on October 13-15. Note that early bird pricing for the WAA Base Camp workshop will end September 21.
