DataPath, a US-based provider of satellite and wireless communications networks, has won a $2.2 million contract to provide personnel, spares kits and other equipment for in-theater depots that support the US Army’s Joint Network Node/Warfighter Information Network-Tactical program.

The services and equipment support the maintenance and repair of hundreds of DataPath Joint Network Node (JNN)/ Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) satellite communications (SATCOM) terminals deployed in Southwest Asia.

Steve Lindeman, vice president of business operations at DataPath, said: “DataPath’s field services organization, including depot personnel, onsite technical experts and others are doing exceptional work supporting the military’s most vital communications networks. They are responsible for deploying and supporting the JNN/WIN-T satellite communications network used in theater today as well as other major military communications networks.”
