Pitt to Hold Lecture About Greed, Corruption

Lawrence Lessig, a copyright law professor at Stanford University, will discuss the threat of greed and corruption on American institutions Thursday at the University of Pittsburgh.
Lessig, founder of the Center for Internet and Society at Stanford and an anti-corruption crusader, will present “A Declaration for Independence,” a lecture that explores the negative influence of money on America’s most important institutions.
The lecture will be at 3 p.m. in the Teplitz Memorial Courtroom of Pitt’s Barco Law Building, 3900 Forbes Ave., in Oakland.
