PS America, Inc. Uses Qwest's Integrated Voice and Data Solution

Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced an exclusive $1 million agreement with PS America, Inc., one of the fastest-growing wholesale flooring companies, to deliver an integrated voice and data solution using Qwest iQ Networking(R), toll-free and long-distance services. Headquartered in Longwood, Fla., PS America is the largest owner of ProSource(R) Wholesale Floorcoverings franchises and operates more than 44 showrooms across the country.
Qwest connected 46 locations, including the company's showrooms and corporate offices, using Qwest iQ Networking services, a wide area network (WAN) solution based on Multi-protocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology. Qwest also is providing PS America with long-distance and toll-free service. This expanded portfolio of Qwest solutions gives PS America end-to-end connectivity among multiple locations from a single provider through a scalable, high-speed platform.

The portfolio tailored for PS America delivers speeds up to 45 megabits per second to its corporate offices and 1.5 Mpbs to the showrooms, allowing the company to transfer and replicate large amounts of data and complete customer transactions over a secure, reliable network.
