Thames Coromandel District Council’s refuse stations will accept old computers and cellphones as part of E-Day collections later this month. On September 27 and 28 only all TCDC refuse transfer stations will accept for free old computer hardware, monitors, networking equipment, scanners, keyboards, mice, computer speakers, laptops, printers, toner and ink cartridges, games consoles and mobile phones. The E-Day collection does not include televisions, stereos, appliances, power tools or furniture. Hamilton’s e-Day collection will be at the Foreman Rd depot of transport firm Mainfreight on Sunday October 5, between 9am and 3pm. For more information visit www.eday.org.nz.
