INTERNET SAFETY: COBYS Family Services will present the free workshop "Screen Time: Cyber Bullying and Internet Safety" from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Garden Spot Middle School, 669 E. Main St., New Holland.

Learn tips for Internet safety, how to address cyber bullying, and how to set clear expectations and guidelines for family Internet use.

E. PETE SENIORS: The East Petersburg Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, in the community building on North Pine Street, East Petersburg.

WALKING: The Early Birds, Ephrata Community Hospital's walking club for senior citizens, will meet at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Loyd Roland Park, Eleventh Street, Akron.

New members should contact their physician and the hospital's Wellness Center before coming out to walk. Membership costs $25 per year.

BANQUET: Day Seven Ministries, a Christian counseling center, will host its annual fundraising banquet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Road.

The theme is "Walk in the Light," based on John 8:12. The program will include testimonies from people who have been affected by God working through the ministry of Day Seven Ministries. Local recording artist Mindy Boyd will entertain.
