Composite Software, Inc., the data virtualization leader, today announced its award-winning Composite Information Server(TM) has been certified for interoperability with the HP Neoview enterprise data warehouse platform. Composite Software is also part of the HP Developer & Solution Partner Program (DSPP), a worldwide alliance program providing fast, easy access to resources that can help partners to develop, market, deliver and support quality solutions using HP products and services.
The Composite Information Server delivers advanced data virtualization software for quick access to business-critical information regardless of data source or geographical location. The HP Neoview enterprise data warehouse features an integrated hardware/software platform that supports hundreds of terabytes of data and handles massive data queries. The recently released version, HP Neoview 2.3, addresses a market shift from traditional business intelligence (BI) by offering leadership capabilities for operational BI to enable real-time decision making.
As a member of the DSPP, Composite Software will work with HP to integrate its data virtualization with HP Neoview to create an array of BI and reporting, master data management (MDM), data virtualization and service-oriented architecture (SOA) data services.
"Customers can save money and improve data accessibility by leveraging the joint HP Neoview and Composite Software solution," noted Shawn Rogers, cofounder and editorial director, Business Intelligence Network(TM). "The companies' relationship will help organizations looking to add value to their data warehouse investments."
"Customers gain competitive advantage by accessing critical business information quickly and expediting their decision-making process," said Ben Barnes, vice president and general manager, Business Intelligence, Software, HP. "The combination of HP Neoview and Composite Software gives customers the tools to make better use of their business data in real time."
Composite Software's data virtualization approach complements traditional physical data warehouses in a number of key business applications by:
-- Introducing current operations data to the historical repositories in data warehouses;
-- Delivering data federation across multiple physical consolidated sources, overcoming the proliferation of data silos;
-- Serving as a prototype for business-critical new warehouses; and
-- Replacing rogue data marts.
The Composite Information Server with support for HP Neoview is available now. Pricing is based on project requirements. For more information, please visit http://www.compositesw.com/products/.
