Increase Collaboration Within Pdf Files

September 30, 2008

By Tudor, Emily K Jordan, John M

Adobe Systems introduces Adobe Acrobat 9 software, an upgrade designed to transform the process of creating and sharing electronic documents. The upgrade provides support for Adobe Flash technology, enabling users to include Flash-Player-compatible video and application files in PDF documents. The software also includes the ability to unify a range of content into a single document with PDF Portfolios, which enable business professionals to assemble multiple media types, such as documents, video, audio and 3D objects, into one compressed PDF file. Users can then choose among several professional layouts or create their own to integrate content, define navigation and add polish and branding. The up-graded software also allows users to collaborate live within a PDF document- by working with the Acrobat.com suite of hosted services.
