INX Announces Contract Win for Retailer's Corporate Headquarters Business Communications Project
Posted on: Tuesday, 30 September 2008, 09:00 CDT
INX Inc., (NASDAQ:INXI) announced today that it has been selected by a western U.S. retailer to upgrade their headquarters communications technology.
When a large Western United States retailer headquartered in the Northwest decided to move their 600+ person corporate headquarters to a new building in Oregon, they recognized the opportunity to review their technology architecture and realign their communications to their business process. INX was chosen by the client to assist them with the project based on a past performance history of successfully handling complex projects and helping their user community adapt to new technologies during the implementation. The internal adoption of an improved communication technology was an extremely important variable since the project supports all of the corporate staff that service over 400 stores across the western United States. Some of the new unified communications equipment in the design serves to improve team and individual productivity gains as well as to support organizational customer service goals. The solution will also include an upgrade to a Cisco-based unified communications system to incorporate new Cisco presence and call control application technology that will improve call management.
Ken Daugherty, INX Northwest Region Manager, said "We are happy to be of service to this client once again. Using our Strategic Delivery Framework as the delivery model is helping to ensure we mitigate the risk they will face by moving and upgrading their communications and networking technology. We have been able to design a solution to meet our customer's specific business needs by looking beyond the immediate and into what their business may hold in the future."
The contract represents approximately $850,000 in network and communications products and professional services revenue for INX.
