Comcast/South Florida Launches Police Blotter on "Get Local" On Demand

Watchful citizens have a new way to help law enforcement keep tabs on the local crime scene - anytime day or night -- right from their TV's: Police Blotter On Demand.

This new addition to Comcast/South Florida's "Get Local" On Demand lineup is a regularly updated video gallery of the region's top fugitives and is available free to all Comcast digital customers. Each installment profiles one suspect and is hosted by local law enforcement.

"Police Blotter is another example of how Comcast's local presence has a direct positive impact on the communities we serve," said Comcast's Regional Senior Vice President for South Florida, Filemon Lopez. "By getting this vital information out to the public we have the potential of creating a safer environment for all of us in South Florida."

Viewers will learn all about the accused vital stats, the nature of their crime and the number to call with information.

Police Blotter joins Pets on Demand and Dating on Demand on Comcast/South Florida's "Get Local" On Demand section. To access Police Blotter, press channel 1 and then scroll down to the "Get Local" tab on the first page.
