NTT Docomo and RIM to Launch BlackBerry Bold Smartphone in Japan
NTT Docomo and Research In Motion have announced plans to launch the 3G/HSDPA BlackBerry Bold smartphone in Japan in early 2009.
According to Research In Motion (RIM), its BlackBerry Bold smartphone leverages NTT Docomo's high-speed 3G and HSDPA networks. It offers phone, email, messaging, organizer and web browsing applications, as well as access to range of other mobile business and lifestyle applications.BlackBerry Bold smartphone features a newly designed QWERTY keyboard, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi, and set of multimedia capabilities including an optional two megapixel camera with video recording and media player for music, videos and pictures. It also includes the new BlackBerry Media Sync application, allowing customers to synchronize their iTunes digital music collections with the smartphone.
