Jun. 20--SYCAMORE APPEALS DELISTMENT NOTICE: CHELMSFORD, Mass. -- Sycamore Networks Inc., an optical networking equipment maker, said it has been notified by the Nasdaq Stock Market that its stock faces delistment. The company has delayed the release of its fiscal third-quarter financial results as it investigates its accounting of stock options. Sycamore has said that it will appeal the delistment and is requesting a hearing before the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel. The request stays the delisting until the panel makes a decision. Sycamore is investigating its accounting of stock options granted during 1999 to 2001.

Shares of Sycamore closed on Friday at $3.51.

MICRONETICS MAKES SALE TO THE ARMY: HUDSON, N.H. -- Micronetics Inc., a maker of wireless communications and radio-frequency products, said it has sold 16 of its L-band noise generators to the Army's Communications-Electronics Command. Financial terms were not disclosed. The generators will be used in a satellite teleport program designed to create a way for intelligence sources to get in touch with commanders in the field. The instruments add noise to a signal to a precise power ratio to test bit error rates and other parameters. Micronetics, whose customers include BAE Systems, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon, reported fiscal 2004 revenues of $13.8 million.

MAR HOME GUIDE IN 10 LANGUAGES: WALTHAM, Mass. -- The Massachusetts Association of Realtors said that it has published its popular pamphlet, "A Consumer Guide to Buying & Selling a Home In Massachusetts," in 10 different languages. The brochure, first published in 2002, is designed to demystify the home purchase and sale processes and allow real estate agents to more effectively communicate with the state's immigrant population. In addition to English, the 12-page publication is now available in Arabic, Khmer, Chinese, French, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese. In 2004, about one in eight of all Bay State homebuyers were minorities, according to MAR.
