Pyramid Research expects total global expenditures for professional and managed network services, which comprise network consulting, implementation, managed network services and network product support services, to reach $396.7bn by the end of 2009, representing a year-over-year growth rate of 11.1%. Of this worldwide total, $265.2bn will be spent externally by service providers and enterprises with leading professional and managed services vendors.
These findings come from the release of the network services industry's most comprehensive market research report, How Services Are Transforming the Network Ecosystem: Global Market Analysis and Forecast, 2008-2013 (http://www.pyramidresearch.com/downloads.htm?id=1&sc=PR081001_NSS)
"This new report provides in-depth market analysis and insights for global network services investments," says Richard Dean, Pyramid Research's Networks Practice Director. "It examines the total addressable market - not simply external spending - and segments the data by four global regions and 26 'impact' countries."
The publication of this report was the foundation for the September 30th webinar, led by Mr. Dean, entitled Worldwide Network Solutions Market Analysis - The Catalyst for Business Model Transformation and the 2020 Vision. The report is also part of Pyramid Research's Network Solutions and Strategies (http://www.pyramidresearch.com/network_solutions_strategies.htm) subscription-based service, combining an ongoing set of research deliverables with exclusive client benefits, including direct analyst access, personalized consultation, on-site strategy workshops, webinars, and conference calls.
