Hempfield Man Accused of Using Internet to Solicit Teen
A 25-year-old Hempfield man who used the screen name "greensburghotboy" was charged with using an Internet chat room to solicit sex from an undercover agent posing as a 13-year-old Washington County girl, the state attorney general's office announced Wednesday.
Justin Dean Wilhelm, of 182 W. Hills Drive, is being held at the Washington County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bond on charges of unlawful contact with a minor, criminal attempted unlawful contact with a minor, solicitation to commit unlawful contact with a minor and criminal use of a computer.
Canonsburg District Judge David Mark scheduled a preliminary hearing for today.
Since January 2005, the attorney general's criminal predator unit has arrested 167 people for internet-related crimes.
