Crane Library Will Show ‘The Grocer’s Son’
QUINCY – The award-winning French film “The Grocer’s Son” will be screened at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Thomas Crane Public Library, 40 Washington St.
“The Grocer’s Son” tells the story of 30-year-old Antoine, who was forced to leave the city to return to his family in Provence. This surprise French box-office hit is about the coming-of-age of a man re-discovering life and love in the countryside.
Although not subject to rating by the Motion Picture Association of America, the film is not recommended for ages under 17 without parental permission.
The showing is being sponsored by the Friends of the Thomas Crane Public Library.
