Michelle Obama to Appear As a Guest on 'The Daily Show With Jon Stewart' Wednesday, October 8 at 11:00 P.M.

NEW YORK, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Michelle Obama will appear as a guest on the Emmy(R) and Peabody(R) Award-winning "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Wednesday, October 8 at 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT), the night after attending the second presidential debate at Belmont University, Nashville, TN. This marks Obama's first visit to "The Daily Show." Her husband, Senator Barack Obama, has appeared on the show three times, most recently on April 21 on the eve on the Pennsylvania Primary. The Democratic nominee for President of the United States also appeared on August 22, 2007 and November 7, 2005.

Michelle Obama is no stranger to COMEDY CENTRAL, having made her first appearance on a late-night television show on "The Colbert Report" on April 15 as part of the Emmy(R) and Peabody(R) Award-winning show's "Doritos' Spicy Sweet Pennsylvania Primary Coverage From Chili-Delphia - The City of Brotherly Crunch!" week-long, special coverage of this year's Pennsylvania Democratic Primary.

"The Daily Show" airs Monday-Thursday at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT and repeats at 1:00 a.m. the same night and at 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. the following day.
