CyberPatrol LLC today announced the introduction of CyberPatrol SiteCAT Web Site Lookup. The new service, available at www.cyberpatrol.com/lookup.asp, enables any Internet user to immediately lookup and identify the type of web site a child, employee or other user is visiting.
In addition to the ability to identify a site’s category, and whether it is “blocked” or “allowed”, users of SiteCAT Web Site Lookup are now able to comment on a particular site. This interactive feature gives SiteCAT the capability to continually “learn” in real time. Users are key participants in the continuous improvement of CyberPatrol’s ability to protect people online.
The service is powered by CyberPatrol’s SiteCAT technology. SiteCAT continuously crawls the Internet and scans both new and existing domains.
