Tokyo, Oct. 10 Kyodo – Japan thinks that the removal of North Korea from the US list of terror-sponsoring nations is unlikely to occur at present, Chief Cabinet Secretary Takeo Kawamura said Friday.

“At least at this present moment, we think that the situation does not seem to immediately lead to the removal from the list of terrorism-sponsoring nations,” he said, following a US report that the United States seems poised to provisionally cross North Korea off the list as early as Friday.
