Clip-and-Go Laser Mouse

October 13, 2008

MANY people prefer a mouse to a touchpad but often leave it behind when moving from room to room. Logitech has a solution in the form of the V550 Nano cordless laser mouse for notebook computers, which features a clip- and-go dock.

The device offers up to 18 months of battery life. It saves more power by automatically turning off when it is docked or when the Nano-receiver is stored inside the mouse.

To enhance productivity, the scroll wheel can spin freely and move quickly through long documents or Web pages. By pressing down on the wheel, one can switch to click-to-click scrolling mode and scroll precisely through lists, slides or photos. The button below the scroll wheel also allows users to switch between applications.

Logitech’s 2.4-gigahertz wireless technology enables data exchange between the receiver and the mouse 300 times faster than the conventional 27-megahertz wireless technology for cordless mice.

Available in grey with silver and silver with cool-blue accents, the V550 Nano is compatible with both the PC and Mac; the clip-and- go dock is compatible with all notebooks.

The V550 Nano retails at RM199
