Mount Joy Woman Faces Drug Charges
A Mount Joy woman was arrested for delivering painkillers and possessing heroin, police said, after they entered her home on Thursday after a lengthy investigation.
Bethany S. Vogt, 25, 424 Sunset Ave. was charged with delivery of Percocet and possession of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, after police served a search warrant at her home.
According to a news release from the county’s Drug Task Force, Vogt allegedly sold Percocet, a prescription pain medication, to an undercover agent.
Police began investigating Vogt and when they served a search warrant at her home last week, detectives said they allegedly found four bags of heroin, needles and paraphernalia used for injecting heroin and a small amount of marijuana.
In her bedroom, police said, they found a loaded 9 mm handgun.
Vogt was taken into custody and placed in county prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
