Altor Networks Joins Juniper Networks J-Partner Solutions Alliance Program

Altor Networks, pioneering a new class of virtual security solutions, today announced it has joined the Juniper Networks (NASDAQ:JNPR) J-Partner Solutions Alliance Program. Juniper Networks and Altor Networks have partnered to provide customers with an integrated solution to leverage investment in physical network security to secure the virtual environment.

The joint solution combines industry leading Juniper Networks IDP solutions with the pioneering Altor VF virtual firewall. The Altor VF uses purpose-built, patent-pending technology to meet the unique security challenges of the virtual environment. By deploying this solution, enterprises can bring the benefits of the leading IDP solution to the virtual world with minimal performance overhead or cost.
