RadioShack Adds AT&T High Speed Internet Service to Neighborhood Stores; Offers Include Instant Savings With High Speed Internet and Wireless Bundle

FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RadioShack Corporation announced today it has added AT&T High Speed Internet service at participating neighborhood stores throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. In addition, participating RadioShack stores located within AT&T's 22-state region are providing special, limited-time offers to help qualifying customers save even more with their broadband purchase. This includes additional stores in Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and Wisconsin.
Customers at these locations can discover the benefits of AT&T High Speed Internet with fast connection speeds and features that allow such solutions as movie downloads, an enhanced online gaming experience, and easy online sharing of photos, videos and music files. Along with everyday, low monthly rates starting at $19.95 per month, additional offers include:
-- A $75 RadioShack gift card for new qualifying high speed Internet customers, depending on the service plan selected.
-- A free modem or similar computer networking device, after rebate, for new qualifying customers.
-- A $50 instant rebate for qualifying new high speed Internet customers who activate a new or upgrade their existing AT&T post-paid wireless phone service with a two-year service commitment.
The monthly cost of AT&T High Speed Internet packages ranges between $19.95 and $45 per month, depending on the selected service plan. Customers will receive an easy-to-understand self-installation kit with a high-speed Internet modem, line filters, software and other materials to help them quickly get online. An optional set-up package with a service technician is available in some areas for an additional fee.
