NJVC Hires Vito DiNapoli As Vice President of Operations
NJVC, one of the largest information technology (IT) solutions providers supporting the United States Department of Defense (DoD), has hired Vito DiNapoli as vice president of operations.
“We are really pleased that Vito has joined our growing team,” said NJVC President and General Manager Jody Tedesco. “His strong track record of success in managing professional services groups supporting many of the world’s leaders in the information technology sector will be a great asset to our current and future government customers.”
In this new position, DiNapoli will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the IT/IS contract as well as overseeing the operations of all programs within the company.
“NJVC works to provide high-quality, cost-effective IT services and solutions to its customers,” DiNapoli said. “I’m excited to be part of a team of talented and dedicated individuals who are focused on delivering high-quality performance, and I look forward to helping NJVC take its technology services and new business opportunities to the next level.”
DiNapoli has more than 40 years of professional management experience in information technology, most recently serving as a director with CSC in Maryland. In this role, he was responsible for supporting IT contract acquisitions, two of the largest being the Transportation Security Administration and a Department of Homeland Security data center in Mississippi. DiNapoli also developed and guided contract proposals worth more than $1 billion in revenue. During his CSC tenure, DiNapoli served as the service delivery director for General Dynamics’ electric boat division and Pratt & Whitney’s jet engines and education testing service in Princeton, N.J. He then served as director of the Eagle Alliance Service Delivery Group, where he supervised more than 800 employees. In this position he drove remote resolution performance from 20 to 80 percent, which resulted in increased IT availability to the client and a reduction of time-to-repair (TTR) by 80 percent.
Prior to his work with CSC, DiNapoli held executive positions with IBM in various locations across the U.S. and with Technology Service Solutions in Massachusetts. His work covered a broad spectrum of business operations, including management of client relations, cross-functional teams, national strategic partnerships, service delivery across various regions, services marketing, and development and implementation of enhanced business methods and models.
DiNapoli earned a bachelor’s degree in managerial psychology from the College of New Rochelle and completed coursework toward a Master of Business Administration in organizational behavior at Iona College. Both schools are located in New Rochelle, N.Y.
