Orbcomm Receives Regulatory Approval to Provide Services in New Markets

US-based satellite data communications company Orbcomm has received regulatory approval and authorization to provide its two-way satellite data communications services in Nigeria, Singapore, Republic of Cyprus, and Mongolia.
Marc Eisenberg, CEO of Orbcomm, said: “Regulatory authorizations are important for our international value added resellers and original equipment managers (OEMs). In most cases, our OEMs already have established sales and distribution channels in these markets. These territories also give us the opportunity to recruit new resellers in these markets.”
