Limelight Networks Expands into Additional Switch and Data Sites

US-based provider of content delivery network services Limelight Networks has expanded into additional Switch and Data sites to provide better availability, and reliable delivery for its customers' digital media. Switch and Data is a US-based provider of network neutral data centers and internet exchange services.
According to Switch and Data, Limelight Networks is using its PAIX Internet exchange, which gives content providers, internet infrastructure companies and network service providers place to meet and exchange IP traffic.
Denver Maddux, vice president, network architecture and capacity management at Limelight Networks, said: "We are pleased to expand our relationship with Switch and Data, a trusted partner that has helped allow us to continually advance our network to meet the ever-growing demand for content delivery services."
