"Sprint brings us the stability and dedication needed for a long-term relationship, which was a very important factor to us," said Jim Houser, director of telecommunications, Pacesetter Corporation. "Sprint has impressed us with their desire to listen to our needs, and integrate their network to fit our business model. We requested a very rapid migration, and the local Sprint team exceeded our expectations in that regard."
Sprint has implemented long-distance and toll-free voice services as well as frame relay data services for Pacesetter. Pacesetter feels these services will enhance their sales capabilities and ability to provide quality customer service. Specifically, Sprint frame relay service provides class of service, reliability and secure connectivity between Pacesetter call centers, Omaha headquarters and other locations around the country so Pacesetter can more efficiently manage their inventory and customer transactions.
Sprint is committed to delivering integrated communication solutions that help manufacturers address their needs for cost management, connectivity and operational efficiency. Sprint was recognized for its leadership in serving the manufacturing industry earlier this year when it was presented the 2002 Market Engineering Leadership Award for the Manufacturing Vertical from Frost & Sullivan, a leading growth consulting firm.
"Manufacturing companies like Pacesetter are looking for state-of-the-art technologies and strong relationships that can grow with them to help them remain competitive over the long term," Stephen Rowley, vice president, Sprint Business - Central. "Pacesetter recognized the expertise and portfolio of solutions Sprint provides to help them effectively manage communications to keep ahead of customer demand and enhance customer service."
